"Time, is going by, so much faster than I,
And I'm starting to regret not spending all of here with you."
- Nickelback, Never Goona Be Alone
In the city, have you ever tried of seating inside a fast-food restaurant, like in McDonalds, and watch all the people that pass you by? I Have and I felt that my time is fast-forwarding in front of me.
During that time, I was fresh from graduation and looking for my first job, but it has been 7 months or so and still I haven't found any. As I watched those people, I was so overwhelmed by an emotion; feeling myself as a failure even if I had my degree, education, and all. Then, it got me thinking, did I really want to have a life in the city? Working shifts and be all like them? Have a job that really pays well and work my ass off to have a very comfortable home and all that's inside it. And I said to myself, yes; but not there(in the city) and how I would earn them is not in such way. You see, I have lazy days and I don't want to miss life while working my ass off and I want my work to be stable and fun.
It was asking too much for a lazy person like me and I won't have those dreams I'm contemplating if I won't undergo through these trials in front of me. If I can't compete with them, I can compete with time. Experience is the key to get this all started. As a random text message I have read said: "Life is tough, but you have to be tougher."
"Is it love tonight
When everyone's dreaming
Of a better life
In this world
Divided by fear
We've gotta believe that
There's a reason we're here
Yeah, there's a reason we're here
Cause these are the days worth living
These are the years we're given
And these are the moments
These are the times
Let's make the best out of our lives"
